Information for Fall 2011 - Spring 2012

2011-2012 Season starts Saturday, September 10, 2011

Calling all ballet students age 4 by September 1, 2012

We invite all ballet students age four and up to be a part of our Nutcracker season. Performances will be held on Friday, December 14, Saturday, December 15, and Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the Jeanne B. McCoy Center for the Arts. Dancers will perform in two of the four performances.

To be eligible students must be registered for a summer ballet camp or lessons and registered for a ballet class for the 2012-2013 season. Once we receive your registration you will be given a form to fill out for participation in the Nutcracker. Information about our not for profit company, New Albany Children’s Ballet Theatre, as well as information about our Nutcracker performances can be found on our website www.newalbanycbt.org.

We limit or cast so dancers are cast on a first come first serve basis. Last season the Nutcracker filled up quickly and a wait list was formed.

Quarterly Tuition Refund

In the event that a child is unable to attend class and tuition has been paid, parents can apply for a tuition refund up until the start of classes. Once the classes have begun no tuition will be refunded. To apply for a tuition refund written notice must be sent to the artistic director with explanation given for withdraw of the class. Please send notice to naballetco@aol.com. The tuition will only be refunded if the spot in the class is filled by another student. In the event that the spot is not filled within 30 days of the written notice then 50% of the tuition will be refunded. Once the quarter has begun no refunds will be granted.
